A conversation with my inspiring colleague, this morning reminded me of the fabulous ten pillars to happiness that Action for Happiness recommends (www.actionforhappiness.org). If you haven’t discovered Action for Happiness yet and have an interest in gaining greater contentment in your life, I would thoroughly recommend them. There are lots of ideas for activities and actions you can take to influence how you feel. Whether you have completed the Lightning Process training or not, there’s something there for everyone. The action I have chosen to focus on today is to identify three reasons why today has been a good day. All too often people focus on the things that haven’t gone well which is a rubbish way to go to bed. My three reasons why life is good today are:
- I had fabulous hugs with my 20 month old twins, Harry and Edie today
- My father-in-law is visiting from Hong Kong and spending time with him with him this morning has been lovely
- It may be cloudy in Brighton today but spring is still in the air.
